- How do I correctly fit the helmet?
- Wrap a cloth measuring tape around the circumference of head, measuring with tape approximately 1” above the player’s eyebrows. Use the Riddell circumference chart below to select proper helmet size. For a video tutorial, CLICK HERE.
- How is the online Axiom model different than an Axiom with Tru-Fit technology?

- What do I do if the helmet doesn’t fit when I receive it?

- Since Axiom comes with an InSite Player Unit, does that mean it comes with Riddell InSite Analytics?
- The InSite Player Unit included with Axiom is part of an advanced impact sensing and reporting system that can collect and transmit impact data from the helmet—including impact location, load, intensity, and volume—and share it with designated coaching staff only when combined with an InSite Analytics subscription. For the InSite Player Unit to begin transmitting data, a coach or athletic trainer must first complete several setup steps, including purchasing an InSite Analytics subscription, activating an InSite Analytics login, obtaining a Riddell Sideline Device, assigning the sensor to the correct player and team, and pairing the Player Unit with the Riddell Sideline Device. When subscribed to this optional coaching tool, football programs receive automated reports with objective data and analysis to help identify opportunities to adjust practice plans, improve player performance, and reduce head impact exposure. This elite service is available only to football programs, not individuals, ensuring the team’s data remains private and secure.
- How can I find out if my football program subscribes to Riddell InSite Analytics?
- To find out if your football program subscribes to Riddell InSite Analytics, you can ask your coaching staff. If they don’t currently subscribe but are interested in learning more about its benefits for their athletes and the program, they can contact their local Riddell sales rep or visit com/InSiteAnalytics to request a demo. This will also allow them to see how other programs are using impact data to monitor exposure and enhance team performance.
- If I want to purchase a Tru-Fit Axiom, built with a 3D head scan, instead, can I do that? How?

- How does reconditioning work for an Axiom?
- You can either send your Axiom back individually by visiting Riddell.com and filling out the reconditioning form here or by sending it back with your team’s reconditioning order. The maximum life for a helmet to be used on-field is 10 years from the date it was manufactured, with a required recertification mandate at least every 2 years. Riddell recommends annual reconditioning, as regular reconditioning will help prolong the helmet’s life.
- What if my head size or haircut changes?
- The fit and form of your helmet are important to the performance of the product. While there is no age limit on the product, we recommend it for high schoolged players and above, as changes in head size are less common.
